Planning on visiting Greece in November, December, January, February or March?  Not sure what to do or what the weather will be like?  Not to worry, there is something for everyone in Greece, any time of year.
Be warned and plan on it being wet and cool while you are here.  Greece is known for sunny days but it is not always sunny.  Rhodes being the sunniest place in Greece, averaging about 280 sunny days per year.  Yet, even with so many sunny days, snow is still possible anywhere in Greece.

Parnassus Ski Center
If snow is what you are after, then you are in for a treat.  Nearly 80% of Greece is comprised of mountains and hills!  Mount Parnassus is one of the best ski destinations in the country offering powdery slopes for everyone from beginner to expert. The accommodations in the area are superb with rooms that offer their own private fireplaces and views over magnificent areas.  Oh, and don't even get me started on the foods and great little shops in Delphi and Arachova. This area is awesome for everyone to visit as it is rich in history and culture let the skiers ski, I’ll be in a taverna sampling the local saganaki.
For the adventurous who want to see it all, there are mainland tours starting in Athens as your base and going out for day or up to 4 days.  The 4 day/3 night Classical Tour that has it all and is perfect for a first time visit to Greece.  If you couple that with a few nights in Athens at the start and one at the finish, you have a perfect week in Greece.  Not only that but the tours tend to be in the 10-20 person range during this time of year so you are actually doing it on something like a semi-private basis.  The stops and restaurants on the tour are very well organized and the guides are fantastic.  Pricing is also more affordable during this time of year.
